DESCRIPTION

The substantial, oversized acetate frames make clear Rousteing’s mastery in creating eye-catching, bold sculptural silhouettes. Akoni skilled artisans created the slightly curving wrap-around front based on Rousteing’s sketches, perfecting his request for a uniquely seductive play on surfaces. Joined by the iconic Balmain floating five-barrel titanium hinges to the equally striking temples, it’s easy to see why Rousteing decided that the perfect name for this new tempting frame was ENVIE, the French word for lust, longing and desire. For, as Rousteing notes: “Elegance, done in an unexpected manner, can be very edgy.”
